Suspect BK's head knock was worse because it's his second (Ft William) this season and he certinly didn't take time off after the first one, hinting he is running out of opitunities to win a world cup………….
I agree that your rear brake has a huge influence in the rear suspension…..hence brands have tried to make a floating caliper to isolate the negative rotational forces which lock the suspension up. This rotation force also throws the weight forward and puts more weight onto the front brake and thus unweights the rear making the rear wheel "light" and less effective. The front brake is for slowing down and the rear is for control.
Greg said he was used to the old fork, so he wanted to use it to sort out the frame/backend After this race he is switching to gripx2 which sits higher in the travel
